Teens in Crisis
A teen in crisis doesn't always look the way one may think. Sometimes a teen that is struggling with anxiety doesn't seem like they're anxious, but can't seem to get a good grade on a test no matter how hard they study. Or a teen that has severe depression isn't sleeping all day, but instead is withdrawing from their extracurricular activities because 'it's just too hard.'
Often times a parent just senses that something is off about their teen but they can't put their finger on it. Listen to that instinct. Don't be afraid of the hard questions, and when you can't seem to reach them. Schedule an appointment.
It doesn't matter if your teen is struggling with anxiety, depression, addictions, eating disorders, divorce adjustment, or just plain ol'high school. I can help.
